Book Review: Murder at the Happy Home for the Aged

Author: Bulbul Sharma

'At your age, you should be singing bhajans, not trying to solve a murder'.

The tranquillity of the Happy Home for the Aged is shattered when a body is found hanging in the garden. The inhabitants of the home are at first perplexed, and then decide to come together to solve the murder that has suddenly brought the violence of the world into their Goan Arcadia. . . Each of them-- reflective Rosie, sharp-tongued Prema, analytical Deven, action man Cyril and artistic Yuri-- bring different skills to the task of unravelling the crime. . . Their investigation is watched over by gentle, pretty Maria, the owner of the home, and Leela their observant housekeeper.

.

A quick readable book with lots of interesting scenes happening around them. The best part I liked in this book is that I loved the curiosity Happy Home people had and the energy they kept to solve the murder mystery. The story will definitely will make you smile in the end.
